Gone are the days of all white kitchen cabinets paired with a sleek subway tile backsplash. This season you’ll have more opportunity to put your personal touch in your kitchen because professionals are saying that colorful patterned tile and geometric shaped tile backsplashes are the way to go.

Another trend making an impact in kitchens this year is tuxedo cabinets; which consist of light upper cabinets mixed with a darker lower cabinet color.

Although if this mix is outside your comfort zone don’t worry, grey is the new white for kitchen cabinet colors for 2017.

But, kitchen cabinets isn’t the only place you’ll be seeing more grey tones in the kitchen. Check out GE’s new line of kitchen appliances in “Slate”, it’s a dark brushed metal finish that’s almost matte and, as an added bonus, it’s fingerprint resistant.
